In the past week the State Government has escalated its plans to push ahead with the costly and environmentally devastating East West Toll Road and Tunnel project through inner Melbourne. This is all without a transparent business case, traffic analysis or genuine community consultation.
We can’t let the government knock down homes to build a toll road that the community neither needs or wants and is environmentally, economically and socially irresponsible.
Now’s the time to come together to show we care and don’t want this project which will rip through the heart of our beautiful city. Come along and help us send a message to Spring Street.
