Media Release: Premier of Victoria: East West impact assessment to be exhibited (Saturday, 19 October 2013)
The public exhibition period for the impact assessment of the East West Link will be the next major milestone for the project, Minister for Planning Matthew Guy said today. The Comprehensive Impact Statement (CIS) prepared by the Linking Melbourne Authority outlines how a range of environmental, social and heritage matters will be addressed. “I have determined that the CIS will be exhibited for 30 business days, the maximum amount of exhibit time within the legislation, so people have plenty of time to review it,” Mr Guy said. It is understood that the Linking Melbourne Authority will commence exhibition shortly. More in link.
