Extraordinary Success with YCAT Street Stalls
Right: YCAT volunteer John Cox at Fitzroy Pool
Join up with YCAT and other protesters by taking the second carriage on the trains between 10.30 and 11.30am on Sunday 26 October 2008. See red box in right column for more details
If you are unable to attend please email your local, state and federal ALP representatives and express your support for the rally and request that the $18 billion be spent on sustainable public and rail freight transport in the east, inner and west of Melbourne including a rapid transit rail to Doncaster.
The street stalls which have been held in recent weeks in Carlton Library, Smith Street, Collingwood, Fitzroy Pool, Collingwood and Clifton Hill have been a great success.
We have increased our membership substantially and collected several hundred signatures on the petition for sustainable public and freight transport.
Congratulations to all – we have done good again.
